Tom and Jerry even though they are adults over 68 years because they meet his birth, on screen and in print stories and comic strips in newspapers many countries, are the same preserving their youth and 7 life.

Nor does the passage of time affects their enthusiasm and persistence to make it angry cat and mouse chase the small, suffering many blows and attacks both definitely not hold anyone in reality but in the virtual space and whimsical cartoons, anything goes.

The two figures were created 66 years ago by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. And it all started when in 1940 in "Puss Gets Boot thje" which presents the story of a cat has been threatened by his master if he returns to break something else home. And then when the mouse is living in the house, rubbed his hands and rubs his mustache happy because he knows that this is an excellent opportunity to run his rival and left alone at home and enjoy all the dishes that you fancy.

and begins its work, throwing much anything in its path and the cat struggling to stop them, but without success and with so many objects smashed, leaping into the street, and when the mouse takes etonces the mat at the entrance of the house says "Home sweet home" (Home sweet home) and placed at the entrance of the burrow and so corton just the cartoon.

When did this short animation, both characters, the cat and mouse, had not yet been baptized. But as the success was great and the film was nominated for an Oscar. But by the next short film, both characters were more insolent and quarrelsome, managed to win 8 Oscars and then were six other candidates.

Already by 1943, William and Joseph Barbera won in such a way to "Yankee Doodle Mouse" that relieved the successful films that had been taking Walt Disney characters, as in the next two years again won two Oscars.

also with "The Cat Concerto" in 1947 was a great success with the characterization of Tom as a great concert that while playing the Hungarian Rhapsody, but the mouse control for your cat can not interpret this melody, playing it on a grand piano to bother.

But Jerry had danced alongside Gene Kelly in the film "Anchors Leven" (Anchors Aweigh) in 1944, becoming in the first film that combined an actor with a cartoon character. Something similar was done in 1953 when Tom and Jerry Esther Williams swim together in a dream sequence.

But parents of Tom and Jerry, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera never imagined that size would have global success after both went wrong, because one was unemployed and Hanna wanted to be an engineer but decided a short career and less dangerous, because when working at a construction site, was injured. And the time he was 21 years old, Hanna began with Rudolph Ising artist, but also demonstrated his qualities as a writer and to direct their own movies. And when he had signed a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1937, it was there he met Barbera, a former bank employee who had become a cartoonist because he liked the world of entertainment.

And so it began to form a great team because Barbera was the arming of the ideas and the "gags", while Hanna was the one responsible for drawing purposes. His production team was and remains famous: "Hanna-Barbera Productions, produced for the same comics, cartoons that. Were 20 years of very successful company, especially when they formed their own production studio, which had much success with his television programs.

But the couple of artists and creators, too, were the "fathers" of many famous cartoon characters like Yogi Bear, The Flintstones.

Tom and Jerry, finally, are two great characters who continue to entertain many generations of children in the future.

William Hanna died on 22 March 2001. Joseph Barbera was born March 24, 1911 in New York and died at age 95 on December 18, 2006.
